The first step in order to achieve clear, pimple free skin and reduce the chances of your pores from clogging due to makeup, sunscreen, dirt, oil and other external factors is by removing it completely from your skin before your other skincare regimens.

The easiest and gentlest way to remove them is through an oil based cleanser. This should be the first step in your routine, this is where you remove everything from your face. Your second step should be followed by a ph balanced water based or foaming cleanser to remove any residues from your first cleanser and to further clean your face.

I will be featuring different types of cleansers/balms so you can weigh each one that will best work for your skin type and need.

*ingredients featured in blue are mildly comedogenic, red are comedogenic/acne irritants, in bold are irritants to sensitive skin types, in yellow might cause acne/irritants/sensitivity to some but not applied to everyone.
